Sifiso Mthembu

Sifiso Mthembu is an engineer by profession with a strong background in electrical engineering; he has vast experience in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and also has experience in plant maintenance.

He has practised engineering in various sectors including pulp and paper industry, steel manufacturing industry, bulk water supply industry, banking industry to name a few, where he has successfully completed various multidisciplinary projects.

Sifiso holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Wits University and he is also professionally registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).

After many years of experience and training, Sifiso went on to expand his passion for engineering as an entrepreneur.

He co-founded KhaNgwe Intelligent Technology Solutions (KNITS) in 2013, where he is responsible for:

• Business Operations
• Strategic Planning and Implementation
• Business Development
• Policy Development and Implementation
• Capacity Building and Development
• General Management

Sifiso’s vision for the company is to expand it to be a global leader and most preferred provider of engineering and technology solutions, employer of choice, trusted business partner and to give back to the community.

He believes in sharing information and knowledge, grooming and helping young aspiring engineers to kick start their careers.
