Senzekile Mthembu has a background in public relations, media relations, marketing, corporate events co-ordinating, business administration, business finance and human resource management. She gained experience by being involved in different portfolios and media projects from writing media releases, lobbying to media monitoring.
She began her professional career in 2007 as a Public Relations Assistant at South African Breweries (SAB), where she was responsible for co-ordinating professional tours, handling front desk and she also had further exposure in Events Co-Ordination. In 2011, she became a Soul Ambassador for SAB World of Beer which focused on Corporate Social Investment because of her passion for community development.
Due to her zeal, Senzekile was promoted to Marketing Assistant and she also acted as a Marketing Officer. She was responsible for all marketing activities, media awareness & liaison and stakeholder relation for SAB World of beer. She was also involved in planning and co-ordinating conferences and corporate events.
In 2014 she joined Flow Communications as an Account Executive, where she was responsible for media training, media coverage reports, media monitoring, developing media briefing material for clients prior to all interaction with media and client liaison.
In 2015 Senzekile decided to pursue her entrepreneurship fulltime at KhaNgwe Intelligent Technology Solutions (KNITS) that she co-founded in 2013. At KNITS she is an Executive Director responsible for business administration management, finance management, tendering, marketing, human resource management, business compliance and corporate social investment management. She aspirers to see KNITS becoming a global brand and increasing human capacity to empower and develop the youth to eradicate poverty in all communities the business operates in.
